Hermes Agent plugin that adds an opencode tool to dispatch coding tasks to OpenCode's multi-agent harness

In short

hermes-opencode-plugin is a Hermes Agent plugin that adds an opencode tool, so Hermes can delegate software engineering tasks to OpenCode and its oh-my-openagent multi-agent harness.

What hermes-opencode-plugin does

Hermes stays the front-facing brain with memory and planning, and the plugin gives it an opencode tool next to read_file, terminal, web_search and delegate_task. A call can start OpenCode's Sisyphus orchestrator, which routes work to agents such as Hephaestus for deep implementation, Oracle for architecture advice, Librarian for docs research and Explore for codebase search. The README says one call can run five or more agents in parallel across multiple models.

The tool has five actions: run for fire-and-forget tasks, session for multi-turn work, status to check the CLI and agent count, agents to list installed agents, and stop to end the OpenCode background server. The plugin disables OpenCode's embedded web UI, session sharing and auto-update so no browser tab opens. oh-my-openagent is optional: when it is missing, the plugin falls back to OpenCode's built-in build agent without the multi-agent orchestration. An optional SKILL.md can be copied into the Hermes skills directory, and updating is a git pull.

Key features

  • opencode tool registered through the Hermes plugin system, with no core changes
  • Five actions: run, session, status, agents and stop
  • Agent selection including hephaestus, prometheus, oracle and atlas
  • Falls back to OpenCode's build agent when oh-my-openagent is missing
  • Headless operation with the web UI, sharing and auto-update disabled
  • Optional skill file for Hermes

When to use it

  • Letting Hermes hand a feature implementation to OpenCode and review the result
  • Getting architecture advice from OpenCode's Oracle agent before coding
  • Running multi-turn coding work in an existing OpenCode session

Who it is for: Hermes Agent users who also use OpenCode and want Hermes to delegate coding work to it.

How it fits with Hermes Agent

A plugin built for Hermes Agent: it registers the opencode tool automatically after a restart and leaves Hermes core untouched.
