What Agora does

Agora is a Hermes Agent plugin that runs a team of AI roles on the Hermes kanban board. Each role is a real Hermes agent subprocess with its own SOUL.md, tools and session context. A leader worker, created from a leader template, chairs event-driven discussions: it picks speakers, evaluates progress, calls votes and summarizes the outcome.

Since version 2.0, discussion and execution both live on kanban. A discussion is a sub-task of the team-channel root task, speech and votes are [agora:msg] comments, the conclusion is written to task.result, and adopted conclusions become execution tasks automatically. Workers run as Hermes subprocesses with -q, so by default flagged file writes and shell commands fail closed. A project must opt in with allow_unattended=True, which adds --yolo and --accept-hooks. The plugin also adds an Agora tab to the Hermes dashboard.
