What Noustiny does

A Next.js canvas talks to a Hermes gateway. Each beat passes through a small council of narrative skills: brainstorm proposes two to three next options, and when you splice a beat into the middle of the tree, continuity-critic, rewriter and judge walk downstream and patch every later beat the change made stale. The canvas has two kinds of plus button. A square one splices a new beat into canon and triggers that cascade, while a round one adds a what-if sibling branch that leaves existing canon untouched.

Pressing Render starts a second loop. On a single chat completion the agent chains four registered Hermes tools in order: narration_voice_director, voice_sample_builder, voice_clone_synthesize and noustiny_storybook, with no app-side orchestration. Dropping in a YouTube URL lets ElevenLabs IVC clone that voice for the narration. The full tree state, with provenance, can be saved and loaded from localStorage.
