Svix agent skills and MCP tools, plus a Hermes gateway plugin that receives webhooks by polling
Svix AI is the Svix organisation's collection of agent skills, MCP servers and personal agent plugins for working with webhooks, including svix-hermes, a Hermes Agent gateway plugin that polls a Svix sink instead of hosting a public endpoint.
What Svix AI does
The repository has three kinds of content. Skills follow the Agent Skills format and load on demand when an agent plans, wires up or reviews a Svix integration, and two live in skills/. MCP servers let an agent call a live Svix account, for example to debug a broken webhook delivery, with details in the Svix docs. The repo is also an Agent Plugins package with manifests for Claude Code, Codex and any Agent Plugins client.
The personal agent plugins invert the usual webhook setup. Instead of exposing an inbound HTTP route, they poll a Svix sink with the SDK's AutoConfigConsumer and hand each message to the runtime as if it were an inbound POST. Nothing listens, so they work from a laptop behind NAT, and the buffer in front means events survive a restart. svix-hermes is the Hermes Agent gateway plugin: each event passes through a route, prompt and delivery pipeline, and responses can go to a log, a GitHub comment or any connected platform. A sibling plugin, svix-openclaw, targets OpenClaw.
