What Hermes Suite does

Podman 3.4.4 cannot easily share the same UID and GID across multiple containers, which breaks the standard setup of running hermes-agent, hermes-webui and hermes-dashboard as separate containers sharing the ~/.hermes volume. Hermes Suite solves this by running all three services, gateway on port 8642, dashboard on 9119 and web UI on 8787, inside one container under supervisord, so they can share the volume as the same user without Podman's cross-container UID limitation.

The image auto-detects whether it is running under Podman or Docker CE at startup and adjusts accordingly, so the same multi-arch build works on both without separate flags. Every release pins and tests an explicit Agent-plus-WebUI version pair on both amd64 and arm64, and configuration (API keys, model settings) is edited through ~/.hermes/.env and ~/.hermes/config.yaml, shared from the host through the volume mount.
