Signet
Signet-AI/signetai
Shared memory layer that syncs memories, identity files and transcripts across agents and models
Signet is a self-hosted memory system that stores and syncs memories, system prompts, transcripts and secrets across your agent tools. It connects to Hermes Agent through a memory provider plugin.
What Signet does
Signet creates memories automatically from transcripts, imported files and connected sources. A background process called Dreaming then builds a structured map of people, projects, facts and relationships, links each item back to its source, and never rewrites the original evidence. Before the next prompt, the connected agent receives the relevant context and can trace a memory to its raw source.
Sources include Obsidian vaults, GitHub issues and pull requests, Notion, Discord and one-time webpage imports, plus Word, PowerPoint, Excel, PDF, EPUB and other document formats. Signet connects to each agent through its own hooks, plugins or extensions: hooks plus MCP for Claude Code, a plugin for OpenCode and OpenClaw, and a memory provider plugin for Hermes Agent. It runs on your own machine or as a server for a team, with a dashboard for browsing memory, sources and settings.
