What Affiliate Threads does

Affiliate Threads turns product candidates listed in Google Sheets into research-backed, conversation-oriented posts for Meta Threads. Its governing rule is that AI creates and reasons, code controls and validates, a human approves, Threads publishes and Google Sheets records the business state. A bundled skill covers research, angles, voice, drafting, an audit for filler language and editorial review.

Publishing is isolated in one tool, threads_publish, which re-validates the Sheet row, posts through the official Threads Graph API and writes Status=Done and the post URL back. A pre_tool_call hook sends every publish to Hermes' own human-approval gate, and a post_tool_call hook writes an audit line to agent.log. A read-only threads_check tool and an /affiliate-threads status command run a preflight on credentials, token expiry and Sheet access. Scheduled jobs refresh the Threads token monthly and collect insights each Monday into a Metrics tab.
