Hermes Nightshift GLM

Microck/hermes-nightshift-glm

Overnight bot for Hermes Agent cron that opens code quality pull requests and issues on your repos

In short

Hermes Nightshift GLM is an autonomous overnight code-quality bot for Hermes Agent that picks one of your public repositories, runs a coding agent through a plan, implement and review loop, and opens a pull request or an issue.

What Hermes Nightshift GLM does

Nightshift runs on a Hermes cron schedule during the burn window of a GLM coding plan, which is 5 to 50 minutes before the quota resets. It lists your public, non-fork, non-archived repos with recent pushes, selects a task using cooldowns, cost tiers and run history, clones the repo and delegates to a coding agent running GLM 5.1. Pull request tasks use a plan, implement and review loop that retries up to three times, then commit, fork and open a PR. Issue tasks only analyze the codebase and write a markdown report with severity levels from P0 to P3.

There are 63 tasks in 7 categories: 21 create pull requests, such as lint-fix, bug-finder, dead-code and dependency-updates, and 42 create issues. The clone is deleted and the run logged afterward. Setup downloads three files with curl, stores GLM_API_KEY in ~/.hermes/.env, checks quota and previews with --dry-run before scheduling with hermes cron create.

Key features

  • Quota gate that runs only in the GLM burn window

  • 21 pull request tasks and 42 issue tasks
  • Task selection by cooldown, cost tier and history
  • Dry-run mode and quota check script
  • Scheduling through hermes cron with Discord delivery

When to use it

  • Having lint fixes and dead-code cleanups proposed on your repos overnight
  • Receiving analysis issues with severity ratings and file paths
  • Spending otherwise unused GLM quota before it resets

Who it is for: Hermes Agent users with a GLM coding plan who want unattended code-quality work on public repos.

How it fits with Hermes Agent

It is built for Hermes Agent: it is scheduled with hermes cron as a skill, reads its key from ~/.hermes/.env and delivers results through Hermes.
