Nora's Tavern

Open-source, world-centered AI roleplay app built on SillyTavern, managed by Nora inside Hermes Agent
Nora's Tavern is an open-source AI roleplay application built on SillyTavern, organized around a persistent world rather than a single character card. A character named Nora runs inside Hermes Agent and can manage the tavern's worlds, sessions and memory on request.
What Nora's Tavern does
The project keeps the tavern, where roleplay happens, decoupled from Nora, who runs in Hermes Agent and can manage it. Installing just the tavern lets you play with existing SillyTavern-compatible character cards, worldbooks, Regex and Tavern Helper extensions. Adding Nora brings agent management: with user authorization, Nora can read and change a world's characters, sessions, memory and app status through a Nora MCP server, reachable both from the local tavern interface and from connected messaging platforms.
Stories are organized around a world rather than one card, so characters, sessions, worldbooks and an ongoing plot ledger stay together and a story can be continued without re-explaining its background. A Story Profile records a user's preferences across sessions and can also be used to edit Nora's own persona. A local launcher installs Hermes, Nora's configuration, the tavern and its dependencies together on Windows or Mac, or the tavern alone can be installed from source without Hermes for a lighter, agent-free setup.

How it fits with Hermes Agent
Nora, the management character, runs inside Hermes Agent and uses a Nora MCP server to read and manage the tavern's worlds and sessions with the user's authorization.
Requirements: A model API key for chat; Windows x64 or Mac (Apple Silicon or Intel) for the full launcher, or Git and Node.js for the tavern-only source install
Note: The full installer is not notarized on macOS or code-signed on Windows, so the operating system may show a security warning on first run.
