What Hermes Manager does

Hermes Manager is a sanitized, portable version of its author's personal meta-agent profile. It installs as its own profile and does not touch the default profile or any existing ones. The profile contains a SOUL.md with hard invariants, a routing table, a profile-management workflow, cron and fleet guidance and verification rules, plus a config.yaml of operational settings that deliberately leaves out the provider and model, so you choose your own.

A kit of skills loads on demand and covers profile lifecycle and provisioning, system health checks, cron health auditing and troubleshooting, skill auditing, changing models across profiles, update safety, git-based backup and recovery, and a state.db corruption watchdog. Python scripts back them, among them cron_health_check.py, skill_hygiene_audit.py, credential_audit.py (report-only, values redacted), github_backup.py and profile_gateway_watchdog.py. Two routes are offered: a single-file export imported with /import, with credentials stripped, or a git-repo route that enables hermes profile update.
