Codex-inspired chat layout, theme and task Inbox for Hermes Desktop, installed as a desktop plugin

In short

Codex Skin is an independent community plugin that gives Hermes Desktop a Codex-inspired chat layout with its own theme, Glass and Clear backgrounds, history previews and an optional task Inbox.

What Codex Skin does

The plugin changes how the Hermes Desktop chat looks and organizes work, while native model menus, voice controls and Queue behavior remain owned by Hermes. Settings are found in the command palette under Codex Skin: composer width (Codex, Codex plus 20 percent, Codex plus 40 percent or Hermes), pinned user messages, a clean transcript option and the Inbox. Choices persist locally. Clean transcript hides identified execution details after the final reply while keeping answers, user messages, media, artifacts and alerts visible.

The Inbox treats each thread as a task. Settling hides a thread without stopping, archiving or deleting it, with three seconds to undo, and snoozing hides it for anywhere from 15 minutes to one day. The stated goal is an empty Inbox at the end of the day. The plugin checks GitHub for stable releases on launch and hourly, but downloading and installing needs your click. The README describes version 1.10.0 and points older Desktop layouts to v1.6.0.
