Icarus
esaradev/icarus-plugin
Hermes plugin for shared agent memory, training-data extraction and model replacement
Icarus is a Hermes Agent plugin that gives agents shared memory, extracts training data from their work and supports a pipeline for fine-tuning a replacement model. It runs inside Hermes and is not an Obsidian plugin or a standalone app.
What Icarus does
Icarus writes agent notes as markdown files into a shared directory set by FABRIC_DIR, so agents on different Hermes profiles can read each other's work. Hooks capture decisions automatically and inject context. Tools such as fabric_recall, fabric_write, fabric_search, fabric_pending and fabric_curate handle ranked retrieval, writing with linking and evidence fields, keyword search, assigned work, and a training_value tag of high, normal or low. Optional Obsidian support adds wikilinks and daily notes, and the fabric_init_obsidian tool sets up a vault.
The training side turns tagged entries into fine-tuning pairs with quality filtering and weighting. export-training.py writes a together.jsonl file for Together AI, with the aim of fine-tuning a cheaper model on your agent's own history, evaluating it and switching to it. The README shows /plugins listing icarus v0.3.0 with 16 tools and 4 hooks, and states that Icarus is not an orchestration framework, agent router or dashboard.
Key features

- Optional Obsidian wikilinks and daily notes
When to use it

- Browse an agent's notes as an Obsidian vault
