What Hermes Bot Forge does

Hermes Bot Forge adds agent-creation tools to Hermes Agent, including create_agent, update_agent and list_agents, so a request such as 'make me a social media manager' produces a finished Bot without the New Agent dialog. The Bot gets a unique Proper Case name, a blob face in the Bots roster, a SOUL.md written for that one job, starter memory plus what Hermes already knows about you, tools and skills, optional cron routines, and a Bot Chat that opens with its own introduction.

A background gateway service is started for each Bot and enabled on login. Every step is checked, and the whole Bot is rolled back if one fails. New Bots inherit the model of the Bot that created them. API-key and local-model providers work at once, while OAuth sign-ins may need a one-time login per Bot or a configured fallback_model. Plugins are opt-in per profile, and hermes bot-forge-doctor lists what is missing. Settings such as inherit_model, install_gateway and allow_delete (off by default) live in each profile's config.yaml.
