Self-hosted 3D virtual office where Hermes Agent profiles work as AI employees at desks
DeskRPG is a self-hosted 3D miniature virtual office in which your Hermes Agent profiles become AI employees. They sit at desks, answer when mentioned, hold meetings and work kanban cards, while several people share the same office in real time.
What DeskRPG does
DeskRPG does not bundle an agent runtime. It attaches to the Hermes gateway you already run, so existing profiles come across as they are, with nothing to migrate. You register a gateway by address, or let the setup wizard discover a local or SSH-reachable Hermes install, check the plugin and register its profiles. Each hired NPC is bound to a profile, with its SOUL.md editable from the web and the model, provider, toolsets and reasoning effort selectable per NPC.
The office is rendered with three.js in five environments, with 50 stylized character looks. Mention an employee to address them in office chat, open group rooms with invited NPCs, and watch each response move from queued to thinking, streaming and complete, including the tool the agent is using. Meeting mode adds floor control, hand raising and exportable minutes, and Hermes-owned kanban cards are tracked from planning to completion. For hosting, the README documents running the office and Hermes together on one Hostinger VPS.
