Desktop app that manages configs, MCP servers and skills across AI coding tools, including Hermes Agent
AI Toolbox is a cross-platform desktop application for managing the configuration of AI coding assistants. For Hermes Agent it manages config.yaml, providers, the default model, global prompts and memory files.
What AI Toolbox does
AI Toolbox is a desktop app for Windows, macOS and Linux that gathers the settings of many AI coding assistants into one interface. It covers OpenCode, Claude Code, Codex, Grok CLI, Gemini CLI, Kimi Code CLI, OpenClaw, Pi, Oh My Pi, Claude Desktop, DeepSeek Harness and Hermes Agent. For Hermes Agent it manages config.yaml, providers, the default model, global prompts and memory files, and its session manager can browse, search, rename, import, export and delete Hermes sessions.
Shared pieces include a central MCP server list with import, export, groups and multi-tool sync, and a Skills repository that installs from Git repositories or local directories and enables or disables skills per tool. A local proxy gateway offers one endpoint with protocol conversion, failover, request logs, usage statistics and model pricing for several tools. Settings can be synced from Windows into WSL or to remote SSH hosts, a system tray gives quick toggles, and backups can go to local storage or WebDAV.
