What Hermes Chat Bubble does

Hermes Chat Bubble is a beta dashboard plugin that adds a floating Hermes TUI launcher to the Hermes Dashboard. Clicking it opens the dashboard's existing chat as a floating panel, so you can keep chatting while you move between other dashboard tabs.

The panel can be dragged, resized from any corner, minimized back to the launcher, or expanded into the full chat tab. It can also copy the last assistant response and jump to sessions, and it stays clamped inside the main content area so it does not slide under the sidebar or header. The plugin uses the dashboard overlay slot and repositions the persistent chat host instead of opening a second PTY or WebSocket session. If that host is missing, it opens /chat instead. The shipped payload is static JavaScript and CSS plus a manifest, with no backend service and no stored credentials.
