PokeTokenBar

macOS menu bar app that tracks AI coding token usage, Hermes Agent included, as a growing Pokémon
PokeTokenBar is a macOS menu bar app that reads local usage data from AI coding tools, Hermes Agent among them, and turns the tokens you spend into a Pokémon companion. It also works as a usage and cost tracker.
What PokeTokenBar does
PokeTokenBar reads token usage directly from the local data of Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI, Antigravity, OpenCode, Hermes Agent, Cursor, Grok CLI, Copilot CLI, Kiro CLI, Pi Agent, omp, Aside and Kimi Code, with no external CLI needed. The tokens you spend incubate an egg that hatches into a Pokémon from Generations 1 to 5, evolves through its real evolution line, and graduates into a Pokédex before a new egg arrives.
Underneath the game it is a usage tracker. The menu bar shows today's total tokens, optionally with cost or official limit percentage, and the app tracks 5-hour and weekly limits with reset countdowns and a burn-rate forecast. Filling a limit earns Rare Candy, and spent tokens can buy shop items such as a nature-changing Mint, a Shiny Charm or higher-grade eggs. The companion can also live on the desktop at sizes from 48 to 384 pixels. The README is available in English, Korean and Japanese.
