What SEO Keyword Research does

SEO Keyword Research is a prompt-driven workflow that finds more than 50 buying-intent keywords for a business, scores them, groups them into content clusters and builds a 30-day content calendar from one prompt. The main file, PROMPT.md, is copy-paste ready and model-agnostic. The repo also includes a Claude Code agent config in .claude/agents/keyword-researcher.md and setup docs for the Distribb API, Ahrefs and Google Search Console.

It uses three data methods at different levels. The free default uses Google Autocomplete and pytrends for discovery, relative trends and intent classification. The Distribb API adds real search volume and keyword difficulty, and the Ahrefs API adds volume, difficulty, CPC and global volume; both are paid. Google Search Console, which is free, can be layered on top to add your own clicks, impressions, CTR and ranking positions. The prompt detects which keys are set and uses the best available source. The output is a single HTML dashboard with a sortable keyword table, content clusters, quick wins and CSV export.
