RUDR9

Ardha-Eco-System/RUDR9

Installer that turns Hermes Agent into a multi-profile AI engineering team coordinated by Kanban

In short

RUDR9 is an installer that turns a fresh Hermes Agent setup into an AI engineering organization made of role-based profiles, coordinated through the built-in Kanban dispatcher. Each role gets its own config, memory, SOUL.md and restricted toolset.

What RUDR9 does

RUDR9 sets up a team of Hermes profiles for software development: a CTO and orchestrator on the default profile, plus planner, architect, version control manager, builder, security auditor, performance auditor and reviewer profiles. Each profile has isolated config, memory, sessions and skills, a SOUL.md that defines identity, authority and limitations, and role-specific skills and MCP servers.

Work flows through the Hermes Kanban board. A request becomes linked tasks: the planner writes SPEC.md, the architect writes ARD.md, the version control manager opens a feature branch and draft PR, the builder implements, security and performance reviews run in parallel, the reviewer gives a verdict, and the PR is merged. The CTO picks the ceremony level per feature, from quick-fix to standard to complex. Authority is enforced through per-profile toolsets, so the planner has no file tool and the security auditor cannot write files, with a rudr9-guard plugin as a second check at the tool-call level.

Key features

  • Installer creates seven role profiles alongside the default CTO profile
  • Per-profile toolset restrictions enforced by tooling rather than prompts
  • Kanban task graph with dependency links, stale worker reclamation and auto-blocking on failure
  • rudr9-guard plugin that checks authority at the tool-call level
  • PAUL-inspired discipline with BDD acceptance criteria, STATE.md and SUMMARY.md
  • Sequential-by-default execution and a repair loop limit of five to control cost

When to use it

  • Handing a feature request to a planner, architect, builder and reviewer pipeline with an audit trail on the Kanban board
  • Requiring security and performance review on every pull request
  • Scaling process between a one-file quick fix and a complex multi-task feature

Who it is for: Developers who want a structured, role-based AI development workflow on top of a fresh Hermes Agent installation.

How it fits with Hermes Agent

RUDR9 is built entirely on Hermes Agent features: profiles, SOUL.md files, the Kanban dispatcher, skills, MCP servers and a plugin.
