Self-hosted crew of AI agents on an org chart with shared long-term memory and chat-app access

In short

Brigade is a self-hosted platform where a crew of AI agents on an org chart share one long-term memory called Tideline. It is tagged hermes and hermes-agent, but it is its own agent runtime with overlapping features such as skills, a cron scheduler and messaging channels.

What Brigade does

Brigade runs a crew of AI agents on an org chart that share one long-term memory, called Tideline, so what one agent learns the others can use. Agents delegate to each other, switch models mid-task and act inside more than 1,000 connected apps. By default it is a small filesystem install under ~/.brigade/, with an optional self-hosted Convex database, and it runs on a Raspberry Pi or a server.

You reach the crew from a terminal chat TUI, WhatsApp, Telegram, Slack, Discord, iMessage and BlueBubbles. It works with Claude, GPT, Gemini, Llama or a local Ollama, can sign in with a Claude, ChatGPT or Copilot subscription or reuse a Claude Code or Codex CLI login, and holds privileged actions for your approval. The README says keys and data stay on your machine with no telemetry. It also lists isolated agents with their own workspaces and credentials, a skill system, a cron scheduler, sub-agent fan-out and an MCP memory server.
