Voice notes app for iPhone and Mac with RAG note chat and a built-in chat with your Hermes Agent
FlowFlow is a Rust voice notes app for iPhone and macOS that transcribes recordings, lets you chat with your notes, and can talk to your own Hermes Agent over a private Tailscale link.
What FlowFlow does
FlowFlow captures speech, transcribes it with the Soniox cloud service or local Whisper models, and stores it as searchable notes. Chat over the notes uses hybrid search (BM25 plus vector search with reranking) and returns answers with tappable source links. It adds AI titles, tags and themes, a personal dictionary, and encrypted LAN peer-to-peer sync between up to three paired devices with no server.
Two Hermes features are documented. Under Chats, New conversation, With Hermes, your own Hermes Agent answers inside the app, with tool calls folded into a single steps row, linked by scanning one QR code over your Tailscale network. You can pick the model and reasoning level, attach photos or files, call Hermes skills from the plus menu, and send any note to Hermes. Separately, you can grant Hermes scoped, revocable access to one shared space, where it reads folders, notes and threads and writes its own notes.
